EconomyColombian GDP expands beyond 5%The growth of the Colombian economy in the third quarter of 5.75% surprised even the most optimistic analysts. GDP growth from January to September was 5.10%, compared with the same time period last year. The economy grew by 3.93 percent in the first quarter and by 5.62 percent in the second.

According to Jaime Alberto Cabal, President of Cotelco, the investment boom is due to tax incentives provided by the government.
